Netanyah’s Candles and Skin Care began with a mother’s love. When owner and instructor Tamara, learned that her daughter’s severe skin and food allergies left her with few safe options, she started creating gentle, natural products at home—just to bring her comfort.
What began as simple soaps soon grew into a heartfelt calling.
As Tamara saw her handmade blends soothe her family’s sensitive skin, she realized others in the community needed the same kind of care.
From that moment, Netanyah’s Candles and Skin Care was born—a small business rooted in compassion, creativity, and clean ingredients.
Today, Tamara crafts natural, vegan, and allergy-conscious candles and skincare made with intention, offering comfort to those with delicate skin and sensitive senses. Drawing from her background in education, she also shares the joy of creating through hands-on candle and skincare workshops for children, adults, and seniors, alongside her online shop and community events.
At the heart of it all is a simple mission:
to create safe, thoughtful products that nurture the body and lift the spirit—gently and naturally.
Aroma Art & Mobile Crafting Workshop Story
Aroma Art & Mobile Crafting Workshops grew from my love of candles and my 19 years as a special education teacher. What started as a simple joy—wandering candle aisles after school—became a creative lifeline during COVID, when I began making candles for loved ones who missed the comfort of their favorite scents.
When schools reopened, the idea to bring candle making to students felt natural. I introduced hands-on candle, soap, and diffuser lessons to my after-school club, giving learners of all abilities a space to explore STEM concepts through creativity, fragrance, and fun.
As my passion grew, so did my desire to step beyond the classroom. I wanted to offer meaningful, sensory-rich experiences to senior adults in day centers, to students in science classes and after-school programs, and to community groups looking for safe, uplifting ways to build connections.
Today, Aroma Art & Mobile Crafting Workshops brings art, scent, and science directly to the NYC , LI and Westchester communities—creating warm, welcoming spaces where people of all ages can bond, create, and feel inspired.
